The following projects are currently in various phases of production.
Cossack (Documentary)
There is something about a ghost town that captures the imagination.
Originally settled in 1863, Cossack is now an abandoned township on the West Australian coast, some 1570 kilometres from Perth.
Today Cossack is in the process of being recreated. Where once most of the town lay in ruin, there is a systematic attempt to bring the old buildings back to their former glory.
The State Government released a survey in 2007 which looked into the possibility of fully restoring the town to a level of self-sustainability once more.
Cossack attracts a large number of tourists annually and this is expected to grow as the town's rebuilding continues.
The project is currently in development and is expected to be in pre-production towards the end of 2009.
The Big Deal Genre: Comedy
A film brimful of madcap mayhem, guaranteed to bring out the laughs from all members of the family.
It centres around our hero Larry McCreedy, the bumbling but well-meaning owner of a successful used car yard and his anguish and retaliatory antics when a high-profile opposition moves in next door and threatens to force him out of business.
The film is intended for the international market and filming is anticipated to commence in Melbourne, Victoria in early 2010.
Girls Night Out Genre: Comedy
A family film about a group of girls who go out on a hen's night.
During the night they get a whole lot more than they bargain for when on a night of truths each of their secrets are revealed.
This project is a co-production between Arien Entertainment and Stagescreen Productions and will be filmed in London.
The script has been adapted from the highly successful stage play of the same name.
It is anticipated that pre-production will commence in late 2009 with a film date in 2010.
